Our team, also parents of young hikers, have designed this padded jacket to ensure your child stays warm while hiking and outdoors in everyday life.This child’s padded jacket is warm, light, and compact. It contains wadding for maximum thermal insulation and is water-repellent, to protect your kid from any unexpected showers.

Thermal insulation from synthetic wadding

We use 90% recycled wadding for this padded jacket.
The wadding filling provides 3 appealing qualities for hiking:
– it has good thermal insulation capacity, even when wet
– it provides come breathability and may be recommended in the case of dynamic activity (feather down is recommended for static activity)
– compressibility: wadding filling is highly compressible

Water repellency

This functional feature is obtained by applying a hydrophobic treatment to the fabric. This process prevents water from sticking to the fabric, causing it to “slide” off without soaking in. As a result, the garment remains lightweight, breathable and warm.
The effectiveness of the treatment can be restored during the product’s lifetime. Use sprays that are applied to the outside, rather than additives used when washing the garment, which can damage the product’s breathability.
